FAQ

I've never line danced before. Is it beginner friendly?

Yes! Our classes are tailored for beginners and our instructors will teach every step from the very beginning.

What is the skill level?

All levels are welcome, but the lessons are made for complete beginners. We start with the basics and build up one step at a time, so no experience is needed.

Do I need a partner? Or can I come alone?

You do not need a partner and can absolutely come solo. Our events are a great way to meet new people!

What do I wear?

Something you feel comfortable moving in. We recommend shoes with a smooth sole that can slide and pivot on the floor, like cowboy boots, leather-soled shoes or worn-in sneakers. Skip grippy running shoes and open-toed sandals. Western wear is encouraged but not required, so have fun with it!

What do I bring?

Your ticket confirmation on your phone and photo ID.

Will there be a break to rest and get a drink?

Yes. There's a 15-minute break halfway through the night to rest, grab a drink and meet people.

Will there be drinks and food?

Yes. Henderson's bar has craft beer, wine and non-alcoholic options, plus bar snacks. Drinks and snacks are sold separately from your ticket.

Can I come earlier or stay later for drinks and snacks?

Yes. Henderson Brewing's taproom is open Monday to Thursday from 10 am to 10 pm, and Friday from 10 am to 11 pm, so feel free to arrive early or stay after for a drink and snacks.

Can I buy a ticket at the event?

Yes, you can buy a ticket at the door. Space is limited, so we encourage you to buy online ahead of time to secure your spot.

Is there free parking?

Yes. Parking is free at Henderson Brewing, 128 Sterling Rd.

How do I get there using public transit?

Henderson Brewing is at 128 Sterling Rd, about a 15-minute walk from Lansdowne or Dundas West station on Line 2. The 505 Dundas streetcar also stops nearby.

How often do you run these events?

We host line dancing once a month. New dates will be listed on our website and on Instagram at @saddle.house, so be sure to follow along.

Can I bring a large group?

Yes. Our capacity is 80, and you can purchase up to 80 tickets on our website. Tickets are final sale, so please make sure all of your guests have confirmed they can attend before you buy.

How old do I have to be to attend?

19 or older. Please bring photo ID.

Can I book a private or team night?

Yes. Please reach out to info@saddlehouse.ca for private event inquiries.
